What’s Blooming at Windy Heights Flower Farm

A simple, seasonal look at what’s happening on our farm, from the first signs of spring to the last dahlias of fall and cozy wreath season for the holiday’s. Check back monthly to stay connected and find out what’s blooming and what’s coming next.

Current Season: Winter Rest (January–March)

Our fields are resting right now, gathering energy for the year ahead. Winter is our quiet season, but there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes as we prepare for spring.
  • Seed starting begins soon — trays of future blooms waking up under warm lights
  • Daffodil and Tulip bulbs are planted and will be our first color of the year
  • Field planning + soil prep — setting the stage for healthy spring growth
  • Subscription planning — peonies, dahlias, and bouquet shares for the season ahead

Even when nothing is blooming outdoors, the farm is quietly coming back to life

What’s coming as the season unfolds
